Oh boy, this is a fun one for me. Not necessarily because I like being controversial and divisive, but because I appreciate the communication and understanding of nuance about topics surrounding society.
I don’t want to give bullshit hot takes or to be a place where you can re-affirm what you already believe. I’ll give you honesty, but I’m not going to give you “my side”. Most of what I am going to write on here is (attempting to) outline the nuance of any one societal subject matter.
Some opinions. Maybe some “should be” statements. Mostly commentary about what I’m observing from other conversation.
The writings in this category will be sparse. I think that what you’ll come to find is that I appreciate finding middle grounds and identifying conflict and the nature of it to be the utmost priority to communicate.
That said, I don’t think that everything in society is “Blue vs Red” or “Black and White”. A lot of it just current events. I’ll give some commentary on these kinds of topics as well.
At the very least, I hope to offer a pocket of air in the suffocation of modern dialogue and forum.
